For Veterans

Who Qualifies:

  • All Veterans, regardless of discharge status (honorable, general, or dishonorable).
  • Veterans with disabilities or chronic conditions (e.g., PTSD, HIV) are welcome.

Requirements:

  • Must be a recipient of veteran benefits or in the process of applying.
  • Ability to participate in the structured support program, including medical services, job training, or holistic treatments.


Who Qualifies:

  • Active or retired first responders, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and EMTs.

For First Responders

Requirements:

  • Must provide proof of service or retirement status.
  • Ability to participate in the structured support program, including medical care, counseling, or skill-building services.

For Gold Star Children

Who Qualifies:

  • Orphaned children whose parent(s) served in any branch of the military.

Requirements:

  • Must provide proof of parental military service.
  • Participation in the community’s support services, including schooling, counseling, and recreational programs.

Program Participation Requirements

Structured Program Participation:


All applicants must be able to actively participate in the structured program, which includes scheduled services, prescribed medications, or holistic treatments as needed.

Financial Criteria for Housing:


Applicants must either have a steady income or be in the process of applying for benefits. Applicants should be working toward achieving self-sufficiency.

Application & Referral Process

  • Pre assessment Phase:

Walk-in applicants are welcome, but everyone must complete a pre assessment to ensure they meet the program criteria.

  • Referral Sources:

Applicants may be referred by trusted professionals such as case managers, social workers, nonprofits, outreach workers, or VA services.

Ensure that all referrals include an approved referral submission.

Initial Inquiry:

Visit the office or contact us via phone/email to express interest. Our team will provide you with an overview of the program, answer any questions, and guide you through the first steps.

Pre Assessment:

Complete the initial screening process to determine eligibility. This may include an interview and a review of your current situation to ensure we can provide the right support.

Documentation:

Provide necessary documentation (proof of veteran status, first responder credentials, or relevant referrals for Gold Star children). Our staff will assist you in gathering any missing paperwork or connecting with referral sources if needed.

Approval & Onboarding:

Once eligibility is confirmed, proceed with final acceptance and onboarding into the community. You’ll receive a personalized welcome package, a community tour, and guidance on accessing available services.
